"There is nothing like travel to enable us to see the big world with the kind of clarity that will allow us to live together in our many smaller ones."

The New Age of Travel - Condé Nast Traveler

Interesting article. I have developed an insatiable travel bug recently and would love to get out of NYC and explore a bit over the next few years (or do a program as part of a grad degree abroad - probably the only way I could do such a thing- France perhaps? Italy?).  This sudden need to travel, and not as a typical tourist, has forced me start evaluating my current career choice (or lack of) that unfortunately does not, and will not, ever require me to go anywhere away from a desk. How do I learn about the world through PowerPoint? How am I contributing to the world? Kinda limiting. What else is out there? Maybe I should have stayed with my original  college plan of Anthropology!
