So frustrated. With all the traveling (Am. Sp) I have done in the last few years (including international) the ONLY place I ever seem to encounter flight delays/cancellations is in and out of Chicago. And once again I am sitting in O’Hare, going on hour 5, eating salty food, running out of iPhone battery power and just waiting for the announcement to come that the flight is either delayed another hour or outright canceled. I have yet to see the plane come in so it is not looking good.(side note-the weather is beautiful). If i had known the flight was going to be delayed - there was no update to the airline flight status site- I would have stayed with my friends. Ironically I specifically selected my 4pm flight time into jfk to save me a little $$ - I could have taken the $7.25 trip via subway into the city at 8pm instead of a $45 cab i now have to take at 1am when we are estimated to arrive (on top of the coffee, snacks and extra reading materials purchased). Arrgh. I should have made friends with the dude across from me and gone over to the bar. I just want to get on this plane already.

Also- Why is my auto-correct spelling function wrong? I don’t trust it!
