I actually tried a recipe (if you even call it a recipe) that I saw on the “Today Show” - watermelon, tomato & arugula salad- tonight for dinner. Though it may sound like an odd combination, it’s really simple ( just thow the melon, tomato, arugula in a bowl) and quite yummy when dressed with a little balsamic vineagar & salt. This in no way means that I will start “cooking” on a regular basis but it was fun to throw something healthy together using fresh ingredients. Next up, a black plum tart. I’ve had the recipe forever ( thought I’d make it for dessert or tea one day) and I have noticed black plums appearing in the farmers market so I’ll give it a go.
